“HIGH-POWER SEMICONDUCTOR LASER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME," one of the patents of Focuslight Technologies Inc., has been authorized by European Patent Office (Patent No.: EP 2378616 B1) on March 23, 2016. Before that, this patent has been authorized by the U.S. Patent Office, Japan Patent Office, and the State Intellectual Property Office. Also, the corresponding China invention patent of this patent has won the first prize of the 2014 Patent Award of Shaanxi Province.
This invention patent proposes a structure and design approach of a single-emission cavity high power semiconductor laser, which is the core technology of the F-mount® semiconductor laser series developed by Focuslight. This series applies the self-developed fully indium-free technique, is characterized by high power, high reliability, easy operation, etc. The series has been widely used in laser pumping, laser display, laser ranging, infrared illumination, scientific research, and other fields.
