Focuslight Distributors in Japan Will Exhibit At OPIE'23

From April 19th to 21st, 2023, two of our distributors in Japan – Hanamura Optics Corp. and Optronscience, Inc. (listed in alphabetical order) will exhibit at OPIE'23 (Optics & Photonics International Exhibition), one of the largest exhibitions in Japan specialized for the photonics industrial sector.

Focuslight has been active in the Japanese market since 2011. In 2017, Focuslight acquired LIMO – one of the leading manufacturers of micro-optics and beam-shaping solutions, and a pioneer in groundbreaking photonics production technologies – with a 22-year presence in Japan since 2001.

At present, Focuslight's business in Japan mainly focuses on laser optical components, open-package diode laser components, and fiber-coupled diode laser components used in pan-semiconductor manufacturing processes, industrial applications, and medical & health applications.

In the field of pan-semiconductor manufacturing process applications, Focuslight’s homogenizers used in steppers and photomasks inspection devices have been key products for the Japanese market.

In the field of industrial applications, Focuslight offers in Japan key components of the light source in the industrial laser equipment for welding and cutting, for instance, the beam transformation system (BTS) and the open-package diode laser components.

In the field of medical applications, Focuslight mainly provides our customers in Japan with fiber-coupled diode laser components as core light sources in laser treatment equipment (e.g., dental laser treatment equipment).

Over the years, Focuslight has gained a renowned reputation and wide recognition in Japan with its high-quality products and services.
