February 4th – The annual SPIE Photonics West 2020 opened at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Focuslight Technologies sent a delegation consisting of the local sales team in the USA and the Laser Optics BU in Germany, bringing our high-power diode lasers, laser optics and automotive LiDAR products to the exhibition at Hall C, Booth 1855. Upon the invitation of the exhibition organizer, our staff also conducted a series of academic talks, which attracted interests of numerous visitors.
Focuslight Moments
Focuslight Technologies showed high-power diode lasers, laser optics and automotive LiDAR products to the exhibition. Featuring wide-angle homogenizing diffuser, high-power Flash LiDAR laser module, 905nm LiDAR transmitter module as well as DMCC, a newly developed micro-channel cooled bar-based diode laser, Focuslight products have gained extensive attention and interests of exhibition visitors.
Fascinating Academic Talks
Upon the invitation of the exhibition organizer, Dr. Chungen Zah, Focuslight CTO, has given two professional talks on February 4th:
High power 250W CW conductively cooled diode laser arrays with low-smile and
Diode pumped passively Q-switched Nd: YAG/Cr: YAG solid-state lasers with a stable output of several mJ at 1064nm over a wide temperature range from -30°C to 90°C, received a great deal of positive feedback from the professional audience.
On the morning of February 5, Dirk Hauschild, Head of R&D in our Laser Optics BU, will also be invited to give an academic talk. The schedule is as follows:
