峰会报告 | 应用光子技术解决Mini 和 Micro LED制程工艺技术难题

8月30日,炬光科技泛半导体制程事业部总经理戴晔应邀出席“第三届国际Mini/Micro-LED供应链创新发展峰会(IMDS 2023)”,并作出了题为《应用光子技术解决Mini 和 Micro LED制程工艺技术难题》的主题演讲。演讲聚焦Mini/Micro LED的核心工艺技术,探索Mini/Micro LED供应链的创新机遇与解决难题挑战的方案,期待共同推动Mini/Micro-LED技术的快速发展与量产商业化。

与传统的LCD和OLED相比,Mini LED和Micro LED展现出更高的对比度、宽广的色域、长久的寿命以及更低的功耗等优势。然而,新技术也带来了巨量焊接、芯片修复等制程挑战。戴晔表示,光子技术为实现这些新型显示技术提供了关键支持。在Mini LED制程中,激光巨量焊接技术通过使用光学整形后的光斑,加热并连接LED芯片,有效提升了焊接效率,解决了传统回流焊的问题。另外,光子技术还在Mini LED芯片修复方面发挥作用,通过激光修复系统对LED芯片进行精确修复,解决了芯片变色、位置移动等问题。


在Micro LED制程中,光子技术同样扮演着关键角色。巨量转移技术利用微纳光学设计与模拟,实现高精度的光斑匀化输出,为微小LED芯片的转移提供技术支持。光子技术的模块化设计,例如光束整形模块,解决了制程中的均匀性和斜率等问题,确保制程的精准性和稳定性。戴晔也希望可以和产业链多互动交流,共同建立行业标准,降低新技术产业化突破中的供应链瓶颈。
