2019年10月1日，庆祝中华人民共和国成立70周年盛大仪式，在北京天安门广场隆重举行。西安炬光科技股份有限公司董事长兼总经理刘兴胜，作为海外归国科技创新人才代表受邀参加中华人民共和国成立70周年庆祝大会及联欢活动，与海外华侨、港澳同胞、各方嘉宾和各界代表，一起见证祖国的荣光盛事。

中华人民共和国成立70周年庆典的隆重举行，充分展示了中华人民共和国成立70年来的光辉历程和伟大成果，激励了无数中华儿女为实现中华民族伟大复兴不懈奋斗的宏大梦想。刘兴胜作为海外归国科技创新人才代表受邀参加中华人民共和国成立70周年庆祝大会及联欢活动倍感荣幸。作为观礼嘉宾，刘兴胜有幸全程现场观看中华人民共和国成立70周年大阅兵，内心感到无比的激动和自豪，能在现场近距离的观看阅兵，深切地感受到祖国的强大，是每一位中华儿女的荣耀。

2007年，刘兴胜回国创立西安炬光科技股份有限公司，专业从事高功率半导体激光器器件及模块、激光微光学元器件及系统的研发、生产和销售的国家级高新技术企业。经过十余年的持续稳健发展，炬光科技现已位列全球高功率半导体激光器以及激光微光学行业前列。公司拥有自主研发品牌、核心技术团队、激光光学和高功率半导体激光器领域核心技术，主要为全球先进制造、医疗健康、科学研究、汽车应用、信息技术等领域的客户提供高质量、标准化的产品，并为客户提供定制化、个性化的产品和全套应用解决方案。炬光科技拥有国家地方联合工程研究中心、博士后科研工作站、国家引进国外智力示范单位等科研平台。

炬光科技通过自主研发，在高功率半导体激光器和激光微光学领域，拥有全球领先的核心技术。截止2019年6月30日。公司已累计申请专利807项，有效授权专利439项，其中包括中国发明专利109项，国外专利160项，三项成果分别获得陕西省科学技术奖一等奖、西安市科学技术奖一等奖。炬光科技被国家知识产权局确定为“国家知识产权优势企业”。由炬光科技主持制定的《半导体激光器总规范》、《半导体激光器测试方法》两项国家标准已颁布实施。刘兴胜博士带领炬光科技科研团队编写的《Packaging of High Power Semiconductor Lasers》由世界著名出版商Springer出版，是国际第一本高功率半导体激光器封装技术方面的专著。截至目前，研发团队共发表论文700余篇。
