LX02, KW VCSEL Line Beam Transmitter for LiDAR by Focuslight

The LX02 model is the successor of the LX01. Thanks to Focuslight’s technologies and rich experiences in diode laser components and optical components fields, and by utilizing state-of-the-art multiple-junction high-power VCSEL chips and Focuslight’s unique beam shaping optics, LX02 emits 1kW peak power with < 0.15° horizontal divergence while achieving a typical vertical FOV of 23° with high uniformity (> 90%). It is also delivered with an embedded laser driver powered by GaN FET fast switch, releasing ultra-short (width < 5ns) pulses. The new module based on VCSEL technology offers both better stability and lower cost at mass production essentially needed by the line beam scanning hybrid solid-state LiDAR and is suitable for 3D sensing, and industrial sensing applications as well.

Product features and advantages

●   VCSEL based, line beam uniformity > 90%

●   Peak power >1000W

●   Pulse width <5ns

●   Line horizontal divergence <0.15°

●   Line vertical divergence 23°, uniformity >90%
